The lancet structure may comprise an elongated body (200) having a first surface (202) and a second surface (204), a skin penetrating end (90) for making the incision, a through bore (206) extending from the first surface to the second surface, and a blood transport portion (92) extending from the skin penetrating end to the through bore along the first surface.
