The present invention relates to composition for anti-aging or antioxidation that contains one or more of the following as active components: plant stem cell lines derived from cambium of Panax Ginseng including wild ginseng and ginseng, their lysates, extracts and cultures. The present composition, containing stem cell lines, their lysates, extracts and cultures, avoids the side effects which are associated with known anti-aging pharmaceuticals and antioxidants, and is safe for use on skin. The invention also exhibits anti-oxidant activity by inhibiting active oxygen radicals, which are the major cause of skin-aging and which are produced by UV exposure. The present composition is useful in prevention and suppression of aging because it can effectively reduce or suppress aging related factors.
