PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stent of new structure which can stably reduce a gap in a skeleton structure even when the stent greatly expands and can effectively prevent restenosis or the like of a lumen.SOLUTION: In a stent 10, a cylindrical cover layer 14 is provided for a stent body 12 composed of an expandable and deformable skeleton structure 24. The cover layer 14 is configured by knitted fabric and is overlapped in the way that the cover layer 14 covers an outer periphery of the stent body 12.
