PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope insertion shape analyzing system capable of more smoothly inserting an insertion portion of the endoscope compared with the conventional one.

SOLUTION: This endoscope insertion shape analyzing system comprises: an insertion shape detecting section for detecting the insertion shape of the insertion portion on the basis of the coordinate values of plural portions in the inserted portion of the endoscope in a subject an insertion shape dividing section forming a segment according to the insertion shape and setting a plurality of division points on the segment and an insertion stop point estimation section detecting whether or not the insertion portion is inserted based on a moving speed at a distal end side of the insertion section, and detecting a single division point where coordinate values in prescribed coordinate axes become locally maximums and a transmission rate of the moving speed, which is varied with the insertion operation, is less than a prescribed threshold, out of the plurality of division points.
