Systems and methods for automated production of astatine-211 labeled molecules are described. The present invention represents an important advantage in the preparation of At-211 radiopharmaceuticals, including better reproducibility, reduced production times and increased radiation safety. The present invention also allows for routine automated synthesis of radiopharmaceuticals in a clinical setting in connection with or in close proximity to a cyclotron device capable of producing radionuclides.
