The rail-grinding machine has a grinding drive motor (12) having a drive shaft for a rotary grinding tool (14) which can be arranged under the drive motor (12), wherein a fan (31) is arranged above the grinding tool (14) and can convey air downwards past the drive motor (12) and the grinding tool (14).
