The present invention relates to an apparatus for fixing backbone and, specifically, to an apparatus for fixing the backbone to prevent damage generated by pressure in the combination of a screw for fixing the backbone to a load. To achieve this, the present invention comprises a pedicle screw fixed on the backbone of a patient, having a screw thread in an inner part, in which a head is opened, and in which a rod insertion groove for inserting a road is formed； a rod generated by twisting multiple wires and connecting the pedicle screws by being inserted into the rod insertion groove of the pedicle screw； and a grub screw for fixing the rod by combining with the rod by being inserted from the rod insertion groove of the pedicle screw. The apparatus for fixing the backbone rotatably combines with a rod fixing piece having the width and length at the lower side of the grub screw along a horizontal direction. A curve surface part flowing the outer curved surface of the rod is formed to the width direction in the lower surface of the rod fixing piece. The curved surface part is touched at the outer surface of the road. Both sides of the rod fixing piece is protruded outside the rod insertion groove to increase the surface touched with the rod.
