The present invention relates to an apparatus for processing food wastewater of food waste, and is provided to effectively remove sticky residual waste contained in food wastewater. To this end, the apparatus comprises: a body into which food waste is to be injected； a pulverizing unit which is communicated with a lower portion of the body and pulverizes food waste； a weight-reducing unit which is communicated with the pulverizing unit and compresses the food waste injected from the pulverizing unit to remove moisture contained therein and reduce the weight thereof； a residual material processing means which is communicated with the weight-reducing unit and processes waste water, generated by the weight reducing operation in the weigh-reducing unit, in food waste, and waste residual solids residing after the weight reducing operation； and a drying unit which is communicated with the weight-reducing unit and dries dehydrated food waste provided from the weight-reducing unit to be utilized for fertilizer or feed. The residual material processing means is installed within a case and has a sludge recovery container, having a mesh layer (dehydration hole), installed in a lower portion thereof.
