PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods which can form a hole for planting seedlings, efficiently with a little labor, wherein the excavated soil is not remained on a weed barrier sheet.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a method of forming a hole (24) in which seedlings are planted, in a planting using a weed barrier sheet (10), wherein a characteristic tool (13) is installed on the weed barrier sheet (10) to form the hole (24) by a drill. The characteristic tool (13) is equipped with guide means (14) which guides a drill blade (17) of the drill to a through hole (12) formed in the weed barrier sheet (10) and raises along the drill blade (17) a soil (18) excavated by the drill, while preventing scattering of the soil (18), and housing means (22) for housing the soil (18) which is came out of the guide means (14). In the method, the guide means (14) guides the drill blade (17) to the through hole (12), the drill excavates a soil (11) exposed from the through hole (12), and the soil (18) excavated by the drill is housed in the housing means (22).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT【課題】苗が植えられる穴を少ない労力で効率よく形成することができ、かつ掘削した土を防草シートの上に残存させない方法を提供する。【解決手段】本発明は、防草シート(10)を用いた植栽において、苗が植えられる穴(24)を形成するための方法に関し、特徴的な器具(13)を防草シート(10)の上に設置し、ドリルで穴(24)を形成する。特徴的な器具(13)は、防草シート(10)に形成された貫通孔(12)にドリルのドリル刃(17)を案内し、かつドリルで掘削された土(18)の飛散を防止しながら土(18)をドリル刃(17)に沿って上昇させるガイド手段(14)と、ガイド手段(14)から出た土(18)を収容する収容手段(22)とを備える。そして、この方法では、ガイド手段(14)によってドリル刃(17)を貫通孔(12)に案内し、ドリルによって貫通孔(12)から露出する土壌(11)を掘削し、ドリルで掘削された土(18)を収容手段(22)に収容する。【選択図】図2
