Preparation of anhydrous, multiphase gel system (A) comprising an external lipid matrix and a polymer-gelled internal phase, comprises: (a) melting the lipid phase； (b) mixing a homogeneous swellable polymer (or mixture) to form a dispersed polymer phase (PP)； (c) mixing (PP) with the liquid lipid phase and homogenizing； and (d) stirring the cold mixture until a solid, gel-like mixed structure is formed.
