The present invention relates to a cosmetic hair treatment process comprising the application of a cosmetic composition comprising hollow and/or porous particles with a mean particle size of from 10 to 300 microns, thickening polymers and monoalcohols comprising 2 to 6 carbon atoms, present in an amount of from 5% to 40% by weight, relative to the total weight of the composition. This process makes it possible in particular to slow down or even prevent the regreasing of the hair.Cette invention concerne un procédé cosmétique pour traiter les cheveux comprenant l'application d'une composition cosmétique comprenant des particules creuses et/ou poreuses ayant une taille de particule moyenne de 10 à 300 microns, des polymères épaississants et des monoalcools comprenant de 2 à 6 atomes de carbone, présents en une quantité de 5 à 40 % en poids, par rapport au poids total de la composition. Ce procédé permet en particulier de ralentir voire de prévenir le regraissage des cheveux.
