Producing a hemocompatible material having a synthetic, resistant and waterproof substrate, and an animal tissue, chemically fixed to avoid immunological reactions, comprises drying the tissue, adhering the tissue on the substrate using a dispersion of the constituent material of the substrate in a solvent of material, and eliminating the solvent, where the dehydration is obtained only by chemical immersion of the animal biological tissue in a bath constituted of polyethylene glycol solution of at least 80 wt.%.
