Self-ligating orthodontic bracket assembly comprises bracket body, ligature gate valve and connecting part. Bracket body has an attachment surface and a slot, wherein the attachment surface is configured to be adhesively attached to the dental surface, and the groove has an open shape to enable the wire arrangement along the denture direction. Ligature valve is installed with possibility of movement on bracket body to provide selective opening/closing of slot. Connecting part for retaining ligature gate valve is designed to prevent disconnection of ligature gate valve from bracket body. Connecting part comprises a pin element and a retainer, wherein the pin element is provided on the bracket body for placement in the ligature gate movement zone, and the retainer is provided on the ligature gate valve so as to enable the complementary connecting/disconnecting interaction with the pin member. Wire inserted into slot is made with possibility of selective reaching of binding and releasing action, by means of complementary connecting/disconnecting action of retainer and pin element accordingly to movement of ligature gate valve. Retainer can be installed on bottom surface of ligature gate valve, which faces bracket body.
