PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for easily eliminating clogging in a lifting and lowering device using a rotating plate (impeller) in a foreign matter separating removing apparatus of raw laver.
SOLUTION: The lifting and lowering device of a rotating plate of a foreign matter separating removing apparatus of raw laver includes a rotation axis 7 which is arranged in a standing condition in a mixed liquor tank a sleeve 10 which is fixed with a rotating plate 3 on the lower side, and engaged with the rotation axis, and made slidable to the rotation axis in the vertical direction on the same position and a base part which is fixedly set on a position near the upper end of the sleeve. Furthermore, the base part has a configuration in which cam levers 18 and 19 which raise and turn a free part from a horizontal position as a standby position to a vertical position and enable cam parts constituting a lever edge to push the upper surface of the rotation axis are arranged.
