摘要:
The invention relates to the field of medicine, and specifically to medical technology, in particular to tourniquets which are applied with one or two hands, and can be used in the provision of first aid for stopping exterior arterial blood flow from injured extremities. The tourniquet comprises a belt-type band, at one end of which a buckle is fastened, while a tip is formed at the other end, a strap which is arranged in the internal cavity of the belt-type band and has fastened ends, and a unit for tightening and securing the applied tourniquet. Furthermore, the belt-type band is formed by an initial part, in the middle of which two inserts are fastened, with an overlap, such that one can move along the other, and with a long part, to which a textile touch and close fastener, which is in the form of a band on which loop and hook sections are arranged obliquely in an alternating manner, or is in the form of a band with the loops and hooks are arranged mixed together, is additionally fastened at the front end. The unit for tightening and securing the tourniquet consists of a torsion rod with a slot and a torsion rod catch, which torsion rod and catch are secured on the front side of the initial part of the belt-type band. Furthermore, two slots with a frame arranged thereabove for retaining the torsion rod are formed on the front side of the initial part of the belt-type band, said slots connecting the adjacent ends of those sections of the initial part of the belt-type band which are formed by the slots, the torsion rod is placed above the frame for retaining the torsion rod, and the strap is led out on the outside via the two slots mentioned through the frame for retaining the torsion rod and is tightened in the slot of the torsion rod such that the latter can be twisted to tighten the belt-type band and then one of the ends of the torsion rod is fastened in the catch of the torsion rod. The invention simplifies the process for applying and tightening a tourniquet
