PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact waste culm cutting device for a combine harvester. SOLUTION: This waste culm cutting device 26 for cutting threshed waste culms is set up behind a threshing section 4 equipped with a recovering section 29 for falling recovery of grains stuck on waste culm side after threshing. The cutting device 26 consists of raking-in cutters equipped with front and rear drums 32 and 33, a cutting section 34 located under the drums 32 and 33, and a raking-in element 36 mounted on the front drum 32, functioning to rake in waste culms by bending them and sending them in between the drums 32 and 33 wherein the raking-in cutters are disposed in parallel with each other transversely with respect to a recovering funnel 28 for guiding grains to a recovering port 27 through which the grains are contained in the recovering section 29.
