FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to medicine, in particular to the clinical and experimental diagnosis for measuring blood characteristics, and concerns a method for the differential diagnosis of psychosomatic and somatic diseases. Method includes conducting hematological studies to determine the values of electrophoretic mobility of erythrocyte (EEPM) and erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). Based on the values of EEPM and ESR, the psychosomatic indicator (PSI) is calculated using the formula PSI=1/(EEPM x ESR).
