The invention relates to an improved process for the synthesis of 13-(N-Boc-²-isobutylserinyl)-14-²-hydroxybaccatin III-1,14-carbonate (I), wherein carbonation of the 1,14-hydroxy groups of the baccatin skeleton is carried out with bis(trichloromethylcarbonate and the 7-hydroxy group is protected with a trichloroacetyl group.본 발명은 식 (I)의 13-(N-Boc-β-이소부틸세리닐)-14-β-히드록시바카틴Ⅲ-l,14-카르보네이트의 합성을 위한 개선된 방법에 관한 것으로, 상기 바카틴 골격의 1,14-히드록시기의 탄산화는 비스(트리클로로메틸)카르보네이트와 수행되고 상기 7-히드록시기는 트리클로로아세틸기로 보호된다.
