The present invention relates to a dialysis acid precursor composition to produce a ready-to-use dialysis solution and water, containing sodium bicarbonate-containing concentrate and the concentrate and mixed for use in the manufacture of a dialysis concentrate acid solution. The dialysis acid precursor composition consists of a powder component comprising glucose, one or more dry acid and one or more magnesium salts, and, optionally, potassium salts and calcium salts.
