PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for viticulture and a lighting apparatus for viticulture, which can promote coloring of grape berries by efficient light irradiation.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, the fructification maternal branches 7 of a vine tree 2 are horizontally aligned. Young shoots generated from the fructification maternal branches 7 are attracted so as to be parallel to each other to form fructification branches 8. A light source 12 is arranged parallel to the fructification maternal branches 7. In a berry enlargement stage in which the berries of fruit clusters 5 fruited on the fructification branch 8 enlarge, light is emitted from the light source 12 to the fruit clusters 5 at night.
