PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control agent and a control method for pine wilt having a low environmental impact, superior safety to wildlife, and high controlling effect on Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Steiner & Buhrer) Nickle, and Monochamus alternatus Hope.SOLUTION: A control agent for pine wilt, a control agent for Bursaphelenchus xylophilus (Steiner & Buhrer) Nickle, and a control agent for Monochamus alternatus Hope include an extract from a plant of the Bidens genus in the family Asteraceae as an active component.
