PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image exchange system which allows a plurality of medical institutions to easily exchange medical image data with each other without considerably changing the configuration of a medical image control system of each medical institution.SOLUTION: A two-stage transfer system which transfers medical image data in two stages is employed. Flow of medical image data is controlled based on an image relay tag. In a first stage, a relay server of a sending-side medical institution obtains medical image data from a PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) to transmit the data to an image relay server, and the image relay server records the data in its storage device. In a second stage, a relay server of a receiving-side medical institution receives the medical image data from the image relay server, and the relay server of the receiving-side medical institution records the data in its storage device. Then, an in-hospital terminal of the receiving-side medical institution issues an import order to the PACS to make it possible to refer to the medical image data.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】 各医療機関の医用画像制御システムの構成を大幅に変更することなく、複数の医療機関で医用画像データを容易に交換することができる医用画像交換システムを提供する。【解決手段】 医用画像データを２段階で転送する２段階転送方式を採用する。医用画像データの流れは、画像中継票に基づいて制御する。第１段階では、送信側医療機関の中継サーバがＰＡＣＳから医用画像データを取得して画像中継サーバに送信し、画像中継サーバが自己の記憶装置に記録する。第２段階では、受信側医療機関の中継サーバが画像中継サーバから医用画像データを受信し、受信側医療機関の中継サーバが自己の記憶装置に記録する。そして、受信側医療機関の院内端末からＰＡＣＳへの取込オーダを発行し、医用画像データの参照が可能となる。【選択図】 図１
