PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means for highly accurately keeping an outgoing light quantity ratio between LED light and other light constant when performing special light observation by an endoscope.SOLUTION: An endoscope apparatus comprises: a light source K1 formed of an LED and a fluorescent body a light source K2 formed of an LED that emits light having a wavelength region different from the light source K1 and a storage part 71 that stores information indicating a relationship between amplitude values of drive signals of each of the light sources K1, K2 and an emitting light quantity. A light source control part 49 sets a first amplitude value of a drive signal to be supplied to the light source K1 and a second amplitude value of a drive signal to be supplied to the light source K2 on the basis of a target light quantity with respect to a total emitting light quantity which is a sum of emitting light quantities of each of the light sources K1, K2, the emitting light quantity ratio of each of the light sources K1, K2 and the information stored in the storage part, and further generates a drive signal common to the light sources K1, K2 on the basis of the target light quantity, a drive signal for the light source K1 by changing an amplitude value of the common drive signal to the first amplitude value, and a drive signal for the light source K2 by changing the amplitude value of the common drive signal to the second amplitude value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
