An image captured by successive imaging over time by using a capsule endoscope is correlated with the imaging position and compiled into a database. The left side of a display screen (38) of a monitor device displays a subject internal model (26), a trajectory path (37) of the capsule endoscope, and a position mark (39) indicating the imaging position. An image (42) corresponding to the position of the position mark (39) is displayed in an image display area (41) on the right side. When a position mark (39) on the trajectory path (37) is designated by a mouse, the corresponding image (42) is displayed. It is also possible to designate a section for which the image (42) corresponding to the positionmark (39) is displayed or to designate a position mark (39) where an unusual image is captured. Furthermore, progress of image processing is indicated in the position information image.
