Disclosed is a lightweight electric earth drill including a mounting plate, adrillstem and an outer shell, a motor installed on the mounting plate andconfigured to drivethe drill stem to rotate, a rechargeable battery configured to power themotor, and acontroller configured to control the motor and electrically connected to themotor andthe rechargeable battery. The lightweight electric earth drill is driven bythe motor andhas low noise, which causes less damage to health of the workers and does notdisturbthe residents around the construction site. The lightweight electric earthdrill is poweredby rechargeable battery or mains electricity without exhaust emission. Themotor iscontrolled by the controller and rotates forwardly and reversely, enabling thedrill bit tobe pulled out after drilling the earth. The lightweight electric earth drillhas simpler andlighter structure, more convenient operation and less occupying space.
