The present invention provides a dental treatment assisting tool by which several sorts of foreign materials occurring when a tooth is grinned or a tartar is removed during a dental treatment is not swallowed but is easily withdrawn to the outside and a patient may breathe with his/her mouth. The dental treatment assisting tool comprises: a base plate (1) having a rough circular shape on plane, having a concave upper side to easily collected saliva or foreign materials to the center thereof, and having an elliptical spatial part (12) formed in one side thereof to enable the tongue of a patient to be inserted therein and seated thereon and an air supply pipe (2) which is a soft resin pipe connected with a hole (14) punched in the center of the base plate (1). Accordingly, during a dental treatment, the overall throat may be sealed in a state in which a patient can breathe. According to the present invention, during a treatment, solid foreign materials are filtered by a soft material blocking plate and thus are completely prevented from backwardly flowing to the throat.
