PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice processed food of rice or the like having both functionality of postprandial blood sugar depression effect or the like and excellent taste, even when general rice is used as a raw material.SOLUTION: A rice processed food contains an extract from Campylaephora hypnaeoides and/or Hypnea charoides, preferably furthermore one or more kinds of hydrolytic enzyme-containing auxiliary feedstocks selected from a group comprising miso, koji, lactic acid fermentation, natto, germination grain seed, tomato, Japanese radish and onion.
