PURPOSE: An interactive three-dimensional inspection of tooth root fractures is provided to effectively obtain three-dimensional information by using cone beam computed tomography (CBCT).CONSTITUTION: An image (72) piece is displayed on a display. The image is used as an index image. Splines (50, 52) indicate the location of target teeth (40, 42). The splines span a plurality of teeth.
