Disclosed is a UV absorber mixture, comprising (a) 1 % to 60 % of a micronised UV broadband absorber of formula wherein R 1 is C 1 -C 12 alkyl； or phenyl-substituted C 1 -C 12 alkyl； and (b) 1% to 60 % by weight of a water dispersible and/or oil-dispersible coated titanium dioxide. The UV absorber mixture shows synergistic effect with respect to the UPF.
