The invention relates to a damaged hair-improving agent, comprising: (A) an ester compound composed of dipentaerythritol and at least one fatty acid selected from the group consisting of fatty acids having 5 to 16 carbon atoms, wherein the molar ratio of the dipentaerythritol residue to the fatty acid residue having 5 to 16 carbon atoms is 1.0:3.0 to 1.0:6.0 (B) an ester compound which has a linear or branched alkyl group or alkenyl group having 16 to 18 carbon atoms and has a viscosity at 25ºC of 2,000 mPa·s or less (C) an alcohol which has a linear or branched alkyl group or alkenyl group having 16 to 18 carbon atoms and has a viscosity at 25ºC of 2,000 mPa·s or less and (D) at least one substance selected from the group consisting of hydrocarbon oils having 20 or more carbon atoms.
