The present invention relates to a small air purifier for emitting medicinal herb fragrances while being operated using medicinal herbs produced or grown in Korea. The small air purifier of the present invention is equipped with a heating plate on the top surface of a coupling unit for coupling a body unit having the small air purifier mounted thereon with a plug unit mounted on a socket. A medicinal herb accommodating unit inserted in the top of the heating plate is formed, and a heat conducting plate is formed on the bottom surface of the medicinal herb accommodating unit to be able to come in contact with the heating plate. The medicinal herbs accommodated in the medicinal herb accommodating unit are dried and crushed. The medicinal herbs are &Prime；pine needles, wormwood, mint, Achyranthes bidentata, tumeric, and chrysanthemum,&Prime；&Prime；pine needles, wormwood, mint, ginger plants, fennel, and balm,&Prime； or &Prime；pine needles, wormwood, mint, Acorus gramineus Solander, codonopsis lanceolata, and honeysuckles&Prime；.본 발명은 우리나라에서 자생하거나 재배되는 한방약초를 이용하여 공기청정기 작동 중 한방약초의 방향이 나오는 소형 공기청정기에 관한 것으로, 본 발명에 의한 소형 공기청정기는 소형 공기청정기가 장착되는 본체부와 콘센트에 장착되는 플러그부를 결합하는 결합부 상면에 발열판을 구비하고, 발열판 위에 끼워지는 한방약초 수납부가 형성되며, 상기 한방약초 수납부의 저면에는 열전도판이 구비되어 발열판과 맞닿을 수 있도록 형성된다. 상기 한방약초 수납부에 수납되는 한방약초는 건조 상태로 세절된 "솔잎, 쑥, 박하, 쇠무릎, 울금 및 국화", "솔잎, 쑥, 박하, 생강나무, 회향 및 향유" 또는 "솔잎, 쑥, 박하, 석창포, 더덕 및 인동"인 것을 특징으로 한다.
