PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rehabilitation appliance capable of coping with a load required for every object person, since, when utilizing going up and down motion of a staircase for health maintenance for elderly and rehabilitation, a required load is different for every object person.SOLUTION: There is provided a rehabilitation appliance used for reinforcement of leg and hip muscles and rehabilitation, the appliance comprises: a staircase part on which an object person goes up and down. The staircase part is formed of an ascending part, a landing part and a descending part, each tread board on the ascending part and the descending part can be adjusted in an angle respectively, and a load can be adjusted for every object person. There is also provided a use method of the rehabilitation appliance in which, an object person goes up the staircase from the ascending part, then goes down the staircase from the descending part, or repeatedly goes up and down the staircase for reinforcing leg muscles and rehabilitation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2020,JPO&INPIT【課題】高齢者の健康維持やリハビリテーション等の目的のために階段の昇降運動を活用しようとした場合、対象者によって必要な負荷が異なるため、これに対応する機構が求められていた。【解決手段】足腰の強化やリハビリテーションに利用される機器に於いて、昇降する階段部分を有し、該階段部分は昇段部分と踊り場部分と降段部分から構成され、該階段部分及び該降段部分の踏み板は夫々角度調整が可能であり、対象者によって負荷の調整が可能であることを特徴とするリハビリテーション機器と、これを用いて昇段部分から階段を登り、降段部分を降りる運動を行い或いは反復することで足腰の強化やリハビリテーションを行うことを特徴とするリハビリテーション機器の使用方法を提供する。【選択図】図１
