PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further improve the operability of an ultrasonic probe.SOLUTION: The ultrasonic probe includes: a probe body 4 having a head part 8 where the transmission/reception surface 7 of ultrasonic waves is formed and a grip part 9 to be held by an operator and a turning member 5 provided in the grip part 9 in the probe body 4. The turning member 5 has a cylindrical fitting part 10 to be freely turnably fitted to the grip part 9, and a cable connection part 11 to which a probe cable 2 connected to an ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus body 3 is connected.
