PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic image diagnostic apparatus capable of obtaining ultrasonic image data with an improved S/N.SOLUTION: A phase signal generation part 141A generates two signals of different phases from reception signals. A shift amount setting part 141e sets the phase shift amount of the two signals generated by the phase signal generation part 141A to a prescribed shift amount other than a quadrature phase. A multiplier 141a, a multiplier 141c, an adder 141f and an envelope detector 141g combine the two signals generated by the phase signal generation part 141A and detect an envelope.
