PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely and securely irradiate the lesion part with RF waves in an RF irradiation element for cancer lesions by using RF waves which has a function to necrotize cancer lesions by irradiating the lesion part with the RF waves.SOLUTION: The RF irradiation element has an RF oscillation source 1, a transformer 2 whose secondary side of the output side has a grounded center part arranged in the output side of the RF oscillation source 1, and an electric path between both end parts in the secondary side through the tip end of which the RF waves are irradiated. The irradiation part comprises a first irradiation end 11a and a second irradiation end 11b and a lesion is positioned between both ends. The first and second irradiation ends 11a, 11b have umbrella shape antennas 11d, 11c.
