PURPOSE: A sweetener composition and a producing method thereof are provided to reduce the sour, bitter, and unpleasant taste of medical herb medicines. CONSTITUTION: A producing method of a sweetener composition comprises the following steps: mixing 7-15wt% of trahalose, 35-60wt% of fructo-oligosaccharide, 0.5-12wt% of D-sorbitol, 5-15wt% of D-maltitol, 0.5-1.2wt% of xylitol, and 0.5-1.2wt% of acesulfame-k； and adding the balance of purified water into the mixture for stirring and dissolving. The sweetener composition is inserted to the herbal decoction obtained by medical herbs and water.본 발명은 트레할로스, 프락토올리고당 및 D-말티톨을 주요 성분으로 함유하는 감미료 조성물 및 그 제조방법을 제공하는 바, 본 발명에 따르면, 예컨대 한약 탕제 등의 신맛, 쓴맛, 텁텁한 맛 등을 줄이고 피니시(뒷맛)를 개선할 수 있도록, 단맛을 높여 환자가 거부감 없고, 편하게 복용할 수 있도록 기호성을 높이는 첨가물로서 트레할로스, 프락토올리고당, D-소르비톨, D-말티톨, 자일리톨 및 아세설팜k를 유효 성분으로 함유하는 감미료 조성물 및 그 제조방법이 제공된다.
