PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oral cavity insertion instrument and a pharyngoscope apparatus allowing an operator to observe the oral cavity and the pharyngeal cavity without giving discomfort to a subject.SOLUTION: This oral cavity insertion instrument 3 is configured to be attached to a monitor device 2 having a rod-like long scope shaft 23 and be inserted in the oral cavity. This oral cavity insertion instrument 3 has a long cover member 31 having a bore 311 in which the scope shaft 23 is adapted to be inserted, a long and plate-like tongue depressor 32 provided at the side portion of the cover member 31 and depressing the tongue, and a fixing means 33 for fixing the cover member 31 to the monitor device 2, wherein a tip end 321 of the tongue depressor 32 has a width greater than that of the cover member 31.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
