PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cosmetic composition that gives less irritating feeling to skin, efficiently removes old keratin and dirt of skin and improves the condition of skin.
SOLUTION: The cosmetic composition includes one or two or more kinds of crushed plant charcoal of a carbon content of 50-65 wt.% and a polymer compound. The composition may further contain one or two or more kinds selected from the group consisting of granules of a volcanic eruption material and granules of a foamed volcanic eruption material and one or two or more kinds selected from the group consisting of kaolin, zeolite and talc.
