FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: group of inventions deals with processing surface of inorganic oxide particles, compound for processing surface of particles, particles of inorganic oxide with processed surface and their application in curable dental composites. Method of processing surface of inorganic oxide particles contains stages, at which compound for surface processing is obtained by interaction of first functional group, which is functional group of multi(meth)acrylate monomer, containing branched or cyclic group, characterised by molecular weight, at least, 350 g/mol, with second functional group, which is functional group of silane compound, with first and second functional groups reacting with formation of covalent bond, with formation of urethane, urea or amide bonds and compound for surface processing is combined with particles of inorganic oxide. Inorganic oxide particles with surface are also claimed, processed by said method, and curable dental composite, containing polymerisable resin composition and said inorganic oxide particles with processed surface. One of versions of particles with processed surface can be obtained with application of compound for surface processing, which represents silane compound, representing derivative of multi(meth)acrylate monomer with molecular weight, at least, 600 g/mol and, at least, three (meth)acrylate groups.
