A prosthetic device with ovoid adapter is disclosed herein, which is used in lower limb prosthetic devices. The disclosed prosthetic device comprises a stump receiving scoket, a polycentric knee, an ovoid adapter, an eccentic pylon clamp, an ovoid pylon, and distal feet unit. The disclosed adapter connects the polycentric knee assembly and the ovoid pylon. The device additionally has an integral eccentric pylon clamp. This ovoid cross sectional arrangement reduces the tendency of the assembly to rotate when mounted with load over a period of time and provides resistance to impact, as the shape does not allow rotation. The integral eccentric clamp gives more tensile strength to the whole unit.
