PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical cap which has an elastic stopper and an outer frame body holding the elastic stopper thereinside and is excellent in securement of sealing performance, such as in which liquid leakage does not occur in needle puncture, or which is excellent in holding force or resilience to needle coming-off, and to provide a method for producing the same.SOLUTION: A medical cap has: an elastic stopper 2 and an outer frame body 1 holding the elastic stopper 2 thereinside. The outer frame body 1 includes at least: an upper frame part 11 supporting a circumferential edge part of the elastic stopper 2 from the upper face side and a lower frame part 12 supporting the circumferential edge part from the lower face side.
