The invention relates to an automatic water shutting and dosing device and a method thereof. Primarily, a control device is used for controlling and setting through control buttons, and the control status can be shown through display lights. At a setting time and before dosing, the control device controls a drain solenoid valve of a drinking tank to be started to drain water of the drinking tank so that the drinking tank is inanhydrous state, and there is no water for birds and poultry animals to drink during this period. When it reaches a preset time, the control device controls a power source of a drug storage device to be started to supply drugs quantitatively for a drug tank. Furthermore, the control device controls a three-way water solenoid valve of a water storage device to supply water to the drug tank to dissolve the drugs in the drug tank and flow into the drinking tank so that birds and poultry animals can take medicine when they drink water. Accordingly, it can proceed with automaticwater shutting. Moreover, it can provide the drinking water with dissolved drugs for birds and poultry animals to drink after a preset time.
