PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminating device capable of raising the concentration in a short time, and maintaining the concentration for a long time.SOLUTION: An illuminating device includes a light source capable of emitting a plurality of types of light having different color temperatures, and a control unit for controlling the light source so that the color temperature of light emitted from the light source has a predetermined color temperature. The control unit controls the light source so that the light emitted from the light source is maintained at a first color temperature T1 in a first period t1, the light emitted from the light source changes gradually from the first color temperature T1 to a second color temperature T2 lower than the first color temperature T1 in a second period t2, and then the light emitted from the light source is maintained at the second color temperature T2 in a third period t3 longer than the first period t1.【課題】短時間に集中力を高めることができ、かつ、長時間集中力を維持することができる照明装置を提供する。【解決手段】色温度の異なる複数種類の光を出射可能な光源部と、光源部から出射する光の色温度が所定の色温度となるように光源部を制御する制御部とを備え、制御部は、第１の期間ｔ１において、光源部から出射する光が第１の色温度Ｔ１で維持されるように光源部を制御し、次いで、第２の期間ｔ２において、光源部から出射する光が第１の色温度Ｔ１から徐々に当該第１の色温度Ｔ１よりも低い第２の色温度Ｔ２に変化するように光源部を制御し、次いで、第１の期間ｔ１より長い第３の期間ｔ３において、光源部から出射する光が第２の色温度Ｔ２で維持されるように光源部を制御する。【選択図】図６
