PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a menstrual cycle estimation device for women and a menstrual cycle estimation method for women, which are capable of clearly grasping two-phase characteristics of a body temperature in a menstrual cycle of a subject on the basis of detection data of the body temperature over several days.SOLUTION: A control unit 5 of a sensor device 1 transfers body temperature detection data D1 detected while a subject H0 is asleep by using a body temperature detection part 3 to an outside processor 11. The processor 11 time serially links the body temperature detection data D1 for several days to generate body temperature data sequences O and uses the body temperature data sequences O to construct a hidden Markov model HMM having two hidden states corresponding to a low temperature phase q1 and a high temperature phase q2 in the menstrual cycle.
