PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show a needle which is initially retained on an ultrasonic image as much as possible, and to mount an oscillator unit on the distal end part easily and reliably in a suture device for an ultrasonic diagnosis.
SOLUTION: A pair of engaging groove parts 75 are formed on both side surfaces of the oscillator unit 18, and a pair of engaging protruding parts 74 are formed on both side surfaces of a housing part 76. The oscillator unit 70 is retained in the housing part 76 by the engagement relationship. Then, the front face 70A abuts on the abutting surface 64A. A cable 72 is fit in a long groove formed on the main body, and as the result, backward movements of the oscillator unit 18 are regulated. Consequently, the oscillator unit 18 is positioned and fixed. The distal end side position of a wave transmitting and receiving surface 30 is practically placed on the distal end position of the upper side suturing space, and consequently, the needle is made into an image sufficiently.
