The present invention relates to a producing method of a insect-repellent composition with improved thermal stability by adding a polymer and, more particularly, to a producing method of a insect-repellent composition with improved thermal stability, which mixes a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) solution dissolving a PVA in water with an alcohol solution of essential oil dissolving the essential oil in ethanol, and forms an ether bond between the essential oil and the PVA by inducing a hydrolysis reaction of the essential oil and the PVA through adding acid.본 발명은 고분자 부가에 의해 열적 안정성이 증대된 방충용 조성물의 제조방법에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 폴리비닐알코올(PVA)를 물에 용해한 PVA 수용액과 정유물질을 에탄올에 용해한 정유물질의 알코올 용액을 혼합하고 산을 첨가하여 정유물질과 PVA의 가수화 반응을 유도함으로써 정유물질과 PVA 간에 에테르 결합이 형성되어 열적 안정성이 증대된 방충용 조성물을 제조하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
