PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a land leech expellent capable of suppressing influence on an environmental load with full attention to adverse effects on the environment, such as chemical damage caused on a plant by application treatment which results in withering of the plant in the worst case, while exhibiting an excellent extermination effect to land leeches.SOLUTION: A land leech expellent contains a chelate carboxylic acid and a polyoxyalkylene alkylamine quaternary ammonium salt-based spreader. Preferably, a content ratio of the chelate carboxylic acid is 5-50 wt.% a weight ratio of the polyoxyalkylene alkylamine quaternary ammonium salt-based spreader to the chelate carboxylic acid is 0.05 or more and a content ratio of the polyoxyalkylene alkylamine quaternary ammonium salt-based spreader is 3 wt.% or less.
