PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing cells originating from an adipose tissue.SOLUTION: There are provided a method for preparing cells originating from an adipose tissue including the following steps: a) treating an adipose tissue with collagenase and cutting off, b) removing red blood cells from the cut adipose tissue, c) plating the obtained cells on a serum containing medium and culturing while no duplicate is generated, d) washing out the adhering cells originated from an adipose tissue, and then e) applying EDTA treatment (except for a trypsin/EDTA treatment) to obtain cells； and cells obtained by said method.【課題】脂肪組織からの細胞の調整方法を提供する。【解決手段】下記工程：ａ）脂肪組織をコラゲナーゼで処理して切断し、ｂ）切断された脂肪組織から赤血球を除去し、ｃ）得られた細胞を血清含有培地に播種して複製が生じない時間培養し、ｄ）付着している脂肪組織由来細胞を洗浄し、次いで、ｅ）ＥＤＴＡ処理（トリプシン／ＥＤＴＡ処理を除く）して細胞を得るを含む、脂肪組織由来細胞の調製方法；ならびに該方法により得られる細胞。【選択図】なし
