PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for detecting disconnection of access to a patient during medical treatments or therapies including dialysis therapy.SOLUTION: The present invention comprises: a tube through which a medical fluid can flow； and a conductive element connected to the tube that has a first portion exposed to the medical fluid and a second portion external to the tube. The present invention includes electrical connections 12 in fluid and electrical communication with a fluid passing between a patient and a medical system during therapy.
