The present invention relates to a composition to improve skin conditions comprising catechin glycoside as an active ingredient and a method for improving skin conditions using the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to a cosmetic, quasi-drug or food composition to ameliorate or prevent wrinkles and aging, and to ameliorate skin elasticity or skin moisture protection containing catechin glycoside as an active ingredient. In addition, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition to ameliorate skin aging, to prevent or treat skin dryness containing catechin glycoside as an active ingredient. In addition, the present invention relates to a method for improving the skin conditions or preventing or treating skin aging or dryness by using the compositions.본 발명은 카테킨 배당체를 유효 성분으로 함유하는 피부 상태 개선용 조성물 및 이를 이용한 피부 상태의 개선 방법에 관한 것이다. 구체적으로 본 발명은 카테킨 배당체를 유효 성분으로 함유하는 피부 주름 방지 또는 개선용, 피부 노화 방지 또는 개선용, 피부 탄력 개선용 또는 피부 보습 개선용 화장료 조성물, 의약외품 조성물 또는 식품 조성물에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 카테킨 배당체를 유효 성분으로 함유하는 피부 노화 또는 피부 건조증의 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물에 관한 것이다. 또한, 본 발명은 상기 조성물들을 이용하여 피부 상태를 개선하거나 피부 노화 또는 피부 건조증을 예방 또는 치료하는 방법에 관한 것이다.
